Speaker Program:
Architects of Our Lives: Designing with Intention
What if we approached our lives the way we design great spaces; intentional, human-centered, and built to evolve? In this conversational session, we’ll explore how small, thoughtful shifts in our habits can lead to meaningful change and how doing more of what matters can actually help us do less.
Through a lens that connects personal wellbeing to creative practice, we’ll explore how the same principles used to design thoughtful, impactful spaces can be applied inward. Together we'll uncover how to recognize when action is driven by stress versus alignment, and gain simple tools to cultivate presence, regulation, and ease. You'll leave with a more personal, sustainable relationship to wellness; one that supports both your work and the way you show up within it.
Meet Febe Terrero, MD
At seven years old, Dr. Terrero dreamed of becoming a ballerina. Today she is a dynamic speaker, a medical doctor, and a leader.
Her journey from humble beginnings in Dominican Republic to becoming a medical doctor, life coach, and author is nothing short of inspiring. It reflects a deep commitment to growth, purpose, and human potential.
What truly sets Dr. Terrero apart is her distinctive communication style. She has the ability to connect deeply with audiences and spark meaningful conversations, creating spaces where people are able to experience a deeper dimension of themselves. That’s where breakthroughs occur.
Service has been central to her life. She has had the privilege of working with communities around the world, from Thailand and Japan to Haiti and her beloved Dominican Republic, where she has spent over a decade leading a nonprofit that provides medical care and essential resources to underserved populations.
Through her work, Dr. Terrero offers more than insight, she offers a powerful experience where people have an opportunity to discover creative ways of being that exist beyond their mechanical reactions.

2026 Fashion Show Kickoff Event
Join us for the official kickoff of the 2026 Fashion Show, themed Ionic, on April 29 from 5–7 PM—we promise it’ll be an electrifying start!
This event is your team’s chance to claim a sub-theme inspired by the periodic table (yes, the entire table is fair game). Be sure to come with a few favorites in mind, as selections will be made in the order teams sign up—chemistry favors the prepared.
We’ll also walk through important updates, including rule changes, new awards, and leave plenty of time for Q&A. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to mix and mingle with potential vendor partners.
To lock in your sub-theme, at least one representative from your team must be present. If no one attends, you’ll lose your spot in line and will need to coordinate a later virtual selection from the remaining elements.
We’ll have light bites and beverages to keep the ideas (and ions) flowing—can’t wait to kick things off with you! Registration is free but required.
PROGRAM
5:00-5:30pm Check-in / Networking
5:30-6:00pm Updates + Q&A
6:00-7:00pm Sub-theme Selection / Matchmaking

CEU - Virtual Lunch - Designing for Neurodiversity
Designing for neurodiversity is an informative seminar that explores the intricate challenges inherent in creating environments that cater to the neurodiverse. While rooted in educational considerations, this course extends its scope to various settings.
Participants will gain valuable insights and practical knowledge to inform design decisions that prioritize inclusivity and well-being for neurodiverse populations, including those with autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders, Learning objectives:
Understand the diverse range of neurodiverse conditions and individuals, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, and sensory processing disorders, to inform design decisions that promote inclusivity and well-being.
Review relevant local and international guidelines, legislation, and best practices related to neurodiversity, ensuring that design choices align with industry standards and support the safety, health, and welfare of neurodiverse populations.
Understand the various sensory sensitivities and differences experienced by neurodiverse individuals, including those related to light, sound, touch, and spatial perception, and integrate this knowledge into design solutions that create environments accommodating these differences.
Review key design considerations that foster neurodiversity-friendly spaces across different settings and contexts, striking a balance between sensory-sensitive design and functionality to create safe and accessible environments for all.

Not By Design: An Interactive Unconscious Bias Workshop
As we work and grow in our respective industries, the cultures we sustain can be inadvertently polarizing and inaccessible to certain individuals. In many cases, the root of such a culture shift can be attributed to what we think and do on an unconscious level and as such, normalized with no clear means of alignment.
In Not by Design, Shelly Henriquez-Neill facilitates a thoughtful, unique and interactive workshop that highlights and explores the psychological and sociological intersection of unconscious bias. More than identifying where it exists, Shelly delves into tangible solutions that can be immediately applied and help to move the needle in a different and necessary direction.
EVENT SCHEDULE
- 5:00PM: Arrivals, refreshments, meet and greet, settling in
- 5:30PM: Welcome and opening remarks
- 5:45PM: Interactive workshop
- 8:00PM: Workshop conclusion
