Franklin Farm Community Garden
Come join us and Volunteer at the Franklin Farm Community Garden! This Vibrant Community Garden grows fresh produce for Rhode Islanders facing food insecurity. "Two of every five households in Rhode Island have difficulty affording adequate food" (RICFB) ONE NIGHT COUNTS!
Help with a variety of tasks, from tending plants and weeding to harvesting and loading fresh vegetables for delivery. Our relaxed, fun Volunteer Nights have no required time commitment, making it easy to give back while enjoying the summer.
THINGS TO NOTE
Please dress for the weather. With spring, you never know what you will get! Could be 75 and sunny or it could be 50 and cloudy!
A water bottle filling station will be available at the farm, so they can bring water bottles. We will have garden gloves & any needed tools for you.
Please have everyone park by the barn (it is helpful to put in 152 Abbott Run Valley Road, Cumberland for the Google Directions)
Have everyone in your group meet at the Sign In Station, we can coordinate the tasks and have you all work together. 🙂 (AND we would love to get a group shot of your group on the farm for your memories and ours!)
Registration is free but required.

Annual Meeting & Community Celebration
Let’s come together to celebrate the dedication and passion of our IIDA NE community!
Join us for an evening of fun and celebration, where we'll reflect on our accomplishments and look forward to the future.
This year, we’re also recognizing our nonprofit partners who make a significant impact on our community. All are welcome! See old friends and make new ones, enjoy refreshing summer drinks, and participate in engaging activities and prize giveaways.
This is a hybrid event - you’re welcome to join us either in person or via Zoom.
