Senior Interior Designers bring tremendous experience, client relationships, design leadership, and institutional knowledge to their firms, yet the path beyond the Senior Designer role is not always clear. As experienced designers consider what comes next in their careers, firms have an opportunity to rethink how they support continued growth, leadership, influence, and ownership.

The Design Leaders Network is surveying senior designers who have recently left traditional design firm roles to better understand what influenced their decisions and what firms can learn from their experiences.Attendees will receive the anonymous survey findings and participate in a facilitated discussion about what they mean for our firms and the profession. Together, we’ll explore how firms can create meaningful career pathways for senior designers, strengthen succession planning, and better support and retain experienced design talent, whether their next step is firm leadership, ownership, or another form of professional growth.

This event is invite only and free to attend, but space is limited at each location. In person location will only be held if minimum registration is met. If minimum is not met location will move to virtual. Attendees will be notified a week prior to the event.
