2026-2027 Strategic Plan

IIDA New England's 2026-2027 strategic plan sets three priorities for our fiscal year, July 2026 through June 2027. Each one is built around what we offer members: we connect, we help you learn, and we lift the profession. Here's where we're focused, what it means for you, and how we're doing.

This summer, our board set a clear direction for the 2026-2027 year. Our goal is simple: to unify and engage the New England design community by amplifying the value of IIDA NE for every member, at every stage of your career.

This year we're focused on three priorities:

  • Making every connection count. We're adding intentional, facilitated networking to our events and building a mentorship program that pairs emerging professionals and students with experienced members.

  • Programs with purpose. Our signature events will anchor each quarter, and every program on our calendar will be chosen because it serves our mission and you.

  • A stronger, sustainable chapter. We're exploring new ways to fund our work so we can keep investing in programs, advocacy and members.

You can read the full overview and follow our progress here. We'll share an update each quarter. We'd also love to hear from you! Complete the form below to get involved.

Thank you for being part of this community.
