About Hartford City CenterThe Hartford City Center (HCC) is an active group looking to bring Connecticut's Interior Designers together through professional, educational and community activities. Our mission is to provide the design community with programs to support their growth as a professional; starting with a presence in our local universities with an IIDA student chapter and mentorship programs, to recent graduates and seasoned professionals looking to maintain an edge in a changing market. We believe in giving back to our community through philanthropic events, like our Holiday Gala that provide gifts to children through the Covenant to Care, and our creative events...because we are naturally creative people...that provide donations to businesses like Hands on Hartford and Cradles to Crayons. We are a passionate group always looking for new ideas to share with our members. If you would like to be a part of our community or have questions about the Hartford City Center, please feel free to reach out our Vice President of the HCC, Amanda Cleveland. Hartford City Center EventsClambake and Quilt Auction 2019 The HCC kicks off summer ever year on the beautiful Branford shoreline. This year, designers channeled their creativity and designed and fabricated quilts from discontinued fabrics that were auctioned off to support YOUmedia, a next generation digital learning and maker space for teens 13-19 in Hartford.
Habitat for Humanity 2019 In May, designers from all over CT joined forces for Habitat for Humanities’ Women Who Build Day in Hartford. Holiday Gala 2019 Every year the HCC gathers to celebrate the holidays and provide gifts for children in need throughout CT. Programs at Hartford City Center
