Want to incorporate lighting design in your projects and not sure who to work with or where to start? Want to use the right terms & vocabulary when speaking about your lighting concepts? With lighting being such an integral part of any successful Interior Design solution, the International Interior Design Association of New England (IIDA NE) Professional Development Committee and the Illuminating Engineering Society of Boston & Rhode Island (IES-BOSRI) invite you to join us for a cooperative technical overview of LED lighting technology and its relevance to Interior Design.

Presenters Ira Rothman, IES Boston Chapter President and Matt Hyatt, IIDA NE Immediate Past President, will guide us through this topic. All attendees will leave conversant in the realm of lighting design so they can have more productive & meaningful work sessions with their lighting teams – from in-house staff, to electrical engineers, to sales rep houses, to professional lighting designers. Why the extra $2?

One Bill at a Time is a campaign to raise awareness and resources for Interior Design Advocacy in the New England Region. By adding two dollars to each event hosted by IIDA NE, we remind ourselves that advancing our profession is the core mission of our Organizations and, with small individual contributions throughout our community, we can make a large impact*.

*At the conclusion of each calendar year, all funds raised will be distributed to New England states with active advocacy initiatives in direct proportion to the percent of Chapter membership residing in each state. We dedicate this campaign to the individuals that achieved interior design legislation in New England states and paved the way for the future of our profession, One Bill at a Time.
