Not your mom's grocery store! We will take a look at where we have been and where we are going in the grocery store experience. Join 2022 Emerging Leaders class participants Sofi Ashraf (Payette), Erin Casey (The Architectural Team) and Bri Dazio (Perkins & Will) as they explore the grocery experience. Learn what factors shaped the grocery store of today and how technology continues to impact the grocery shopping experience. What does it truly mean to design equitably? An overview and comparison between ADA, Universal Design, and Inclusive Design with suggestions for going beyond the current guidelines to provide a more equitable experience through design decisions.
